Snapdragon Stadium Tours

Snapdragon Stadium is a 35,000-seat multipurpose venue that serves as the home for San Diego State University football, San Diego Wave FC (NWSL soccer), San Diego Legion (MLR rugby), major concerts and festivals, professional sports, motorsports, international soccer, high school sports, entertainment events and private special events.

Tours will begin on the west side of the stadium at Ironwood Street and Stadium Way, across from the Thrive Lots. Parking will be in the Green Lot on the north side of the stadium. All guests and bags are subject to security screening upon entry.

Tour FAQs

How long are the tours?

The tours will be approximately 75 minutes long. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes as we will be taking you around the stadium.

Where do I park?

Please view our parking map. Parking is complimentary for guests taking a stadium tour.

When should I arrive for the tour?

Plan on arriving approximately 15-20 minutes before the scheduled start time of your tour.

Where do I check in?

Check-in will be on the west side of the stadium at Ironwood Street and Stadium Way, across from the Thrive Park Lots. For parking information, please visit the Directions, Parking and Transportation page.

Are cameras allowed?

Yes, you are welcome to take photos! You can bring non-professional still cameras and video cameras into the stadium for your personal use. The lenses cannot be longer than 6" long and there are no extra detachable lenses.

What is your bag policy?

Snapdragon Stadium is a clear bag only venue. Only (1) one of the following style and size bag, package, or container per person:

  • Bags that are clear plastic or clear vinyl and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag.
  • Purses, bags, or clutches no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”.

Prohibited bags include but are not limited to large purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. There is no onsite storage for bags that are not allowed.

*This policy is not intended to interfere with guests attending with specific medical needs or guests caring for young children.

Are tours wheelchair/ ECV accessible?

Yes, tours are wheelchair and ECV accessible. We do not provide any wheelchairs or ECVs.

Do you offer tours in other languages?

No, we currently only offer tours in English.

Do you offer private tours?

Yes, private tours are available for those who would like a more personalized tour, or those with a large group. We are happy to host groups of any size and of all ages. Please fill out the inquiry form below for pricing and availability.

Can I bring food or beverages?

Sealed water bottles (unfrozen) as well as empty refillable water bottles no larger than 32oz are allowed into the stadium. All other bottles, cans, or beverage containers are not allowed into Snapdragon Stadium. Outside food is not permitted.  Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.

Service Animals

Service animals and service animals in training are permitted at Snapdragon Stadium. In keeping with U.S. ADA regulations, disabled guests may use an animal that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the guest. The work or tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the guest's disability. Animals that solely provide emotional support or companionship to a guest will not be permitted inside the stadium. All other animals or pets are prohibited.
